Carnivores for Kids: Lions, Tigers, Wolves and Cheetahs

Eight meat-eating animals, or carnivores, from four continents: the lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena of Africa, the tiger of Asia, the jaguar of Central and South America, and the wolf and bear of the northern forests. Most of them are big cats, the most famous hunters of all.

The bear is the interesting one: it belongs to the order of carnivores, but most bears are omnivores that eat as many berries, roots and nuts as they do meat. Three words, bear, lion and tiger, read backwards in the grid.
