Three levels, from kids to experts
Easy word searches use 8x8 grids with 6 to 8 words that only run across and down, made for young kids and large print. Medium puzzles grow to 11x11 and add the first diagonals. Hard word searches fill 15x15 grids with 12 or more long words in all eight directions, backwards diagonals included.
Shaped grids and hidden messages
The shaped word searches are drawn in the outline of their theme: a pumpkin, a ghost, a Christmas tree, a heart. In the hidden message puzzles, the letters left over after you find every word spell out a secret phrase.
Printable worksheets for class and home
Each puzzle downloads as a free printable PDF with its answer key, in one of 42 sheet designs, with no watermark and no sign-up.
